From a record-breaking day of Facebook logins to more user friendly updates on Instagram and SlideShare, it's been a busy week in the Social Media world! Check out this week's E-Power Roundup to get caught up on three big changes in Social Media.

Record 1 Billion People Used Facebook: On Thursday, Mark Zuckerberg announced that Facebook reached another milestone. For the first time ever in a single day, one billion people connected to Facebook. Did you use Facebook on Monday? If so, you were a part of this historic event! Check out Mark Zuckerberg's announcement post here.

"We just passed an important milestone. For the first time ever, 1 billion people used Facebook in a single day. On Monday, one in seven people on Earth used Facebook to connect with their friends and family."– Mark Zuckerberg

Instagram Offers Users More Photo Layout Options: Have you ever taken an awesome shot that you wanted to share on Instagram, only to realize that the best part of your photo gets cut off by Instagram's square cropping feature? Exciting news for people who have dealt with this struggle! Earlier this week, Instagram announced that users are now able to post both photos and videos in portrait and landscape orientation. To get this new feature, simply update your Instagram app to iOS version 7.5 or Android version 7.5. Get the full story here.

"Now, when choosing a photo or video, you can tap the format icon to adjust the orientation to portrait or landscape instead of square. Once you share the photo, the full-sized version of it will appear to all of your followers in feed in a beautiful, natural way."

SlideShare Rebrands & Has New Features: Not only has SlideShare rebranded to LinkedIn SlideShare, but some new features have been rolled out, as well. Clipping is a new tool that makes it easy for users to save and organize information they find in SlideShare presentations. All users need to do is click the "Clip Slide" button to save a slide to boards they create based on topics or authors. Get the scoop from The Official LinkedIn SlideShare Blog.

"With so many professionals sharing so much content, we've prioritized helping you discover, save, and organize knowledge to make learning even faster and easier. With that, we're excited to announce that SlideShare is now LinkedIn SlideShare as well as introduce our latest feature, Clipping."
