Another week has come and gone, which means it's time to share some of the recent changes in the Online Marketing world! This week, we're highlighting changes in Social Media and Online Advertising, including Facebook's more mobile-friendly business pages, Bing’s new Keyword Planner and Instagram opening its ad platform to all brands.

More Mobile-Friendly Facebook Pages: With more and more people using Facebook on mobile devices, it's only fitting for the Social network to evolve as well. In making these changes, Facebook’s goal is to make it easier for users to navigate business pages on phones and tablets without having to scroll and click as often. Changes include a larger and more prominent call-to-action button, new "Shop" and "Services" sections and an improved layout. Learn more about Facebook's mobile friendly updates.

"As more people connect with Pages from phones and tablets, we want to make it easier to navigate through Pages on mobile. We're updating the Pages layout so information is easy to find without lots of scrolling and clicking."

Keyword Planner Launches for Bing Ads: Keyword Planner was released this week in Bing Ads, making it easier for advertisers to research relevant keywords, view geographic performance and search volume trends, among other features. Advertisers can use this tool when they're creating a keyword list for their campaigns or when looking to add on to existing ones. Seeing how a keyword may perform based on different bid amounts and daily campaign budgets can be useful in forecasting how it will perform in a campaign. These features of Bing Ads' new Keyword Planner are a few of the many tools our team of Online Advertising experts use to make sure we start our client programs off on the right foot and to help us continuously optimize them. Learn more about the Bing Ads Keyword Planner.

"You can get new keyword and ad group suggestions based on terms that are relevant to your product or service, or through multiplying lists of keywords. Historical statistics such as search volume trends and marketplace competition intensity are provided to help you decide which keywords to use for your campaign."

Instagram Offering Ads to All Brands: Instagram will be opening its advertising platform to all brands, with a launch date of September 30. Ads will also be available in more than 30 new countries. Instagram knows that thousands of businesses around the world are already using the channel to share photos and videos of their products and services, so this update is another way for them to expand their offerings. Read more about Instagram Ads and other new capabilities.

"With technology that leverages the best of Facebook's ads infrastructure, it's now easy for advertisers on Instagram to target their message more effectively and reach people based on what they care about—whether it's fashion, sports, cars or food. Advertisers also have access to new ad formats that help them achieve a variety of objectives, allowing people to learn more about something that interests them or even shop for a product right from Instagram."
